These Black women were sent to do the impossible... and they delivered.
Join us for a screening of The Six Triple Eight — part of our Portraits of Patriotism film series. Experience the true story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-Black, all-female unit to serve in Europe during World War II. Under the command of Major Charity Adams, they processed over 17 million pieces of undelivered mail in record time and did it without the recognition they deserved.
Courage. Excellence. Sisterhood. This is the story that history forgot. We're making sure it's not forgotten here.
Screenings run June 2–6 | Daily screenings at 10AM, 12PM, & 2PM
