Amplified: A Visual Art Showcase

June 19, 2026 18:00 - 23:00

The Anderson Center for the Arts and the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District are proud to partner with Miller Outdoor Theatre for the Wells Fargo Presents Juneteenth Culture Fest, a free celebration of Black culture, art, and music.

A Night of Timeless Sound

The evening will feature a headline performance by the legendary Maze “The Music is Forever” alongside the incomparable Chanté Moore, delivering an unforgettable blend of classic soul, smooth R&B, funk, and neo-soul. This is a night of love, legacy, and music that moves the soul.

A Pop-Up Art Gallery Curated by Houston’s Own

Alongside the live performances, attendees will experience a special pop-up art gallery co-presented by the Anderson Center for the Arts and the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District, curated by Allison Retina Stewart-Creeks and Keda Sharber. Selected works from Houston’s open-call submission process will be featured, spotlighting the depth and beauty of Black art across the city.
